Andrea Bonassi graduated in Cognitive Psychology in 2016 and received his Master degree in Psychology – Neuroscience with honours from the University of Trento in 2018.
Since 2018 Andrea has been enrolled at the Doctoral School in Cognitive Science of the University of Trento. He is a third-year PhD Student at the Mobile and Social Computing Lab (Fondazione Bruno Kessler) and the Affiliative Behaviour and Physiology Lab (Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, University of Trento).
During his PhD, Andrea is specializing in Behavioural Genetics, Clinical Neuroscience and Scientometrics. He has been visiting PhD Student at the SAN Lab of the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore where he worked in the field of Social Neuroscience. Andrea has also been a Lecturer at the University of Trento for the Courses of “Clinical Psychology” and “Genes, Hormones and Behaviour” (PI: Prof. G. Esposito).
Andrea is currently involved in a joint project with Fondazione Bruno Kessler and Nanyang Technological University, which aims to understand how genetic predispositions and psychological factors modulate online and in-person social behaviour. He collaborates with different international networks: Radboud University (Netherlands), Trinity College (Ireland), Nagasaki University (Japan), University of California and National Institute of Child – Family Research (USA).
