Claudia Carissoli has a PhD in Education Science and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Psychology. She graduated in Economics from Università del Sacro Cuore of Milan in 1993. She worked for multinational companies for almost twenty years, covering different roles in complex and international environments, with passion and enthusiasm.
In the meantime, the yearning to delve into more humanistic themes grew, and in 2013 she received a Bachelor’s degree in Developmental and Communications Psychology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan with an experimental thesis titled “Mindfulness and new Technologies: creation and implementation of a meditation protocol for stress reduction, supported by an Android mobile app”.
Since 2014, she has been working as a psychologist, dealing with conditions such as anxiety, stress, conflicts and relationship problems. In 2015 she began a PhD in Education Science at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milano (Psychological Area), which she successfully completed in 2019: with her research project, she investigated the relationship between new technologies (particularly video games) and psychological well-being in adolescents. Her interests mainly concern the investigation of new ways of using technologies to promote people’s emotional intelligence and well-being in order to increase their self-efficacy and resilience in life.
