Dr. Zohar Elyoseph is a licensed educational psychologist, The Head of the Center for Psychobiological Research center and senior lecturer in the MA program for Educational Psychology, at the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College in Israel. He is also a research fellow at the Faculty of Medicine, department of brain science, Imperial College London. In addition, Dr. Elyoseph is a researcher of the artificial intelligence unit in the Institute for Applied AI, of the R&D division of the Israeli Ministry of Education.
Dr. Elyoseph’s research focuses on practical applications, theoretical foundations, and ethical implications of large language models in mental health. Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, Dr. Elyoseph has published multiple studies on the use of generative AI in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, and bioethics.
He earned his BA in Psychology from the Open University of Israel and completed his MA and PhD at Tel Aviv University in Psychobiology and Neuropsychology. He also holds a complementary degree in Educational Psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
