JP Grodniewicz

Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the Jagiellonian University

J.P. Grodniewicz is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the Jagiellonian University. He completed his PhD (2020) as a member of LOGOS research group in analytic philosophy at the University of Barcelona. He works at the intersection of philosophy of mind with other sub-disciplines of philosophy. Most recently he has been focusing on the theoretical underpinnings of psychotherapy, with a special interest in the therapeutic use of chatbots and Artificial Intelligence. He is the principal investigator of the project: “Therapeutic self-understanding” funded by the Polish National Science Center where he studies the nature and value of self-understanding.
